Volunteering is a great opportunity to show support for something you believe in and to give back to the community! Cotuit Center for the Arts seeks volunteers to usher for shows and docents for tours. In exchange for a few hours of their time before and during a show, volunteer ushers are permitted to stay and watch the show for free. We are looking for individuals, 18 years of age or older, who have excellent customer service skills and who enjoy attending quality arts events. Other volunteers are needed to help with clerical work, marketing, publicity, fundraising and events. We are also interested in securing volunteer backstage and technical help. All volunteers must have a working email address, as this is the primary means of communicating volunteer information. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn, share, contribute, make new friends and have fun! In addition to these volunteer opportunities, CCftA is also seeking to fill house manager and box office associate positions. To learn about all of these exciting opportunities at CCftA, please come to one of our informational orientation sessions to be held on May 29 at 7:00pm and/or May 31 at 10:00am. For more information, please call the arts center at 508-428-0669 or email info@cotuitcenterforthearts.org.
